“BACK TO HOME”
All the internal migration had been to the west from the east of Turkey after 1950’s. The emigrants had been shaped by the problems of the big cities while the city were changing because of the intensity of the emigrants. The metropole which is unfair, forced some of them to go back to their hometown. Some of them could stand only for 1 year to go back to their home town; some of them resist for 30 years and then gave up. In last years, there is a considerable demand for remigration back. The authorities who have only suggested to ask the visa for the people finally decided to organize the returns! A part of this migration is under official registration since 2001.
It’s indeterminate that the remigration back to the hometown will be a solution while there are problems like the agricultural policy, the government support for the investments and the terrorism. The economic structure is the first factor which shape the people and tells where the hometown is. And the cultural structure which has been changed help to creat the generations who are between the villages and cities. |
